From music festivals that blend jam, funk, and soul to holistic wellness fairs and comedy shows, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re looking to immerse yourself in live music under the stars, explore the local arts scene, or introduce your kids to creative classes, this roundup of unique events promises memorable experiences: THE RAMBLE FESTIVAL October 11, 12, 13 | 2564 Silver Rd, Darlington, MD Who doesn’t love a good fall music festival? The Ramble Festival is a three-day vibe-centric music festival focused on good people sharing great music and creating terrific times. This camping fest features the best in jam, grass, and funk in the glorious, 200 pristine acres at Camp Ramblewood in Harford County, about 75 miles from Annapolis. At The Ramble, it’s all about creating community through shared experiences and a mutual love of live music in a gorgeous outdoor setting. Kids under 12 are free!

8 OHMS & HONEY SOL W/ Q. FUNK October 27 | Rams Head On Stage - 33 West Street, Annapolis, MD The 8 Ohms Band hails from Annapolis and has a powerhouse lineup of players from all over the DC metro area. Drawing from diverse musical backgrounds, the 8 Ohms are known for blurring the lines between hard groove, funk, soul, reggae, and a slight taste of DC’s own go-go music. Playing a mix of originals and covers, the energy is undeniable! Supporting the show will be Honey Sol, a family band consisting of Lee, Andrew & Mac Priddy. Bring the fam, this is an all-ages event! ILLUMINATE FESTIVAL November 9 | Anne Arundel Community College Schwartz Student Union - 101 College Parkway, Arnold, MD This local festival caught my eye because of their tagline, “explore the best of local holistic wellness.” This free event will feature aura photography, energy work, crystals, essential oils, vetted intuitive readers (tarot and psychic mediums), jewelry and gift items, free workshops, and much more.
